Brandon Graham is a good friend of this tumblr, and I couldn’t be happier that his amazing series has finally been collected in trade paperback by Image Comics. I can’t recommend it enough, and being priced at $19.99 for 424 pages puts it well into the “how can you not buy this” category.
Out of all my Wednesday purchases, King City and Hellboy Vol. 12 were probably the best. But GOD DAMN. If you enjoyed comics like Scott Pilgrim at all and enjoy unique and attention catching art, then you gotta pick up King City. I’ve followed Brandon Graham’s DA and Blog for a while and really enjoy his art style but DAYAM. Its 424 Pages of AWESOME.

Its basically a revamp of an old series, starting over at #21 on. Art style is kinda cracky, but in a good way. Story so far kinda reminds me of a weird John Carter of Mars meets Fallout. I’m recommending this to any appreciators of the weird and strange.
